Jewelry is one item that every woman must have.  It helps complete the look that one wants to achieve.  The great thing about this is that there are a lot of choices for jewelry nowadays.  Some may be expensive, especially those that are found in the necklace display section of the jewelry store. But there are also jewelry items that are affordable and these are what we call fashion jewelry.    Because of this, it is now easy to mix and match jewelry pieces.  It does not require that you wear the same jewelry set because variety will give you more options.

Shops that sell jewelry abound everywhere.  You can see all types of jewelry on necklace display, ring cases and bracelet display cases.  You can choose from different kinds of jewelry from precious metals and stones to native jewelry.  With the many choices that one has, you have the freedom to choose what pieces to wear, with which outfit, and how to wear these jewelry pieces.

Here are tips on how to match your jewelry pieces to look great.  This way, you can properly wear them to your advantage.  For sure, you will be a head turner.

  • Go with those that have similar colors.

It is best to match jewelry whose stones have the same color scheme.  They may not be of the same kind but the important thing is that the colors match.  This also makes it easier to match with the other accessories like shoes, bags and belt as well as the color of the dress itself.  So, for example, if you want to wear an attention-grabbing fiery red gown, you should be more dazzling with a matching ruby stud earrings and a ruby pendant in a diamond necklace.

  • Choose which jewelry to showcase.

This should be kept in mind when matching jewelry.  It is best to choose which one that you would want to be seen.  If you have a necklace that is worth a second look, then it is best to pair it with a pair of simple stud earrings so that you would not look burdened by all the jewelry that you are wearing.  You just cannot have a huge necklace and also earrings and a bracelet that measures 5 inches. Anyone would think your entire getup would be too busy if everything is too big, and you might be “under-accessorizing” if you are wearing pieces that are too small.

  • Don’t be afraid to stack up.

Wearing different kinds of necklace is now trending. You can match different kinds of necklaces but of almost the same length.  This creates a bohemian feel. Like how Indian women love filling their forearms and stacking up on bangles, you can also do this with necklaces. Just make sure you are wearing string necklaces of various lengths, and not chunky necklaces that would look tacky if stacked up on each other. Don’t be afraid to mix and match colors as well. That’s gonna be some boho chic fashion!
