2 Creative DIYs to Hang Up Your Jewelry

Instead of always buying a jewelry box or a necklace display, why don’t you try to incorporate something new to organize your jewelry by making your own DIY jewelry holder?

• DIY Wooden Jewelry Holder Hanger


If you have a lot of necklaces and bracelets, and having problems on how you can keep them organize then this easy DIY jewelry holder made from a wooden hanger. To create this DIY wooden jewelry holder hanger, you’ll need the following things:

Materials needed:

- wooden hanger
- 3/4″ gold cup hooks
- drill with a 3/32 size drill bit
- china marker or sharpie
- optional: gold spray paint

STEPS


Step 1 - Mark out where you want your cup hooks to go, using your china marker or sharpie. If you want to get really accurate, use a ruler to measure between your drill marks.
Step 2 - Take your drill and carefully drill into your marks on the hanger. Make sure you keep your drill at a 45 degree angle so that the holes come straight out of the hanger.
Step 3 - Add your cup hooks. Tighten them by hand and turn them the direction you want them facing.

Instead of feeling sad about a useless game, here’s a way to turn it into a coat rack, necklace rack, and accessory rack.

Materials needed:


- Jenga pieces
- acrylic paint
- painter’s tape
- glue
- foam brush
- wax paper

STEPS


Step 1 - Cover your workspace with wax paper to protect your workspace.
Step 2 - Design a layout. Because all the pieces are the same width, uou can use 6 pieces as the hooks for your rack.
Step 3 - Use a painter’s tape to block off sections you want to paint, and paint. After that, peel off the tape.
Step 4 - Let it dry for at least an hour.
Step 5 - Build your rack by squeezing glue on the side of your first block and attach to the next one. Continue through your design, pressing firmly and make sure to glue on all sides that connect.
Step 6 - Let the glue dry for at least 5 hours.
Step 7 - Once dry, try to mount the product to a wall, and enjoy placing your necklaces and bracelets.
